Short Review of Galaxy A51

The flagship phones are certainly not for everyone. Majority of people want to get the mid-range phones due to budget constraints. Good thing is that Samsung has been actively working on producing high quality mid-range phones for people. One of the most considerations options to consider in this regard is the Galaxy A51.

Samsung Galaxy A51 has got a bigger screen, bigger camera block on the rear side, and a reasonable battery. The achievable price tag makes Galaxy A51 a phone to go for.

Galaxy A51 release date and price

Galaxy A51 is going to be launched in the early February. So, you are not going to have to wait much for this phone. However, it is not confirmed about when we are going to see this phone in the stores.

The SIM-free Galaxy A51 is going to have a price tag of $430. From the perspective of features, this phone is better than most of the other Galaxy A-series phones available. And so, the price of this phone might seem a bit higher but it is totally worth it with the features that you are going to get.

Design and display

Samsung Galaxy A51 is an attractive handset which has a larger 6.5-inch screen. Since the bezels of this phone are super-slim, it is ideal for one-handed use. However, people with smaller hands are still going to find it difficult using this phone with one hand. The phone will come with the dimensions of 158.5 x 73.6 x 7.9mm.

On the right side of the handset, volume rocker and power button are present at a very nice position. And what may come as a pleasant surprise to many of the people is that this phone has the 3.5mm headphone jack.

While Galaxy A51 feels pretty solid when you hold it in the hands, it doesn’t feel as premium as Galaxy S10 and Note 10. Another feature missing in this phone is an IP rating, which means that this phone is not officially water and dust resistant.

The 6.5-inch screen is basically a Full HD+ Super AMOLED display which is quite bright and colorful. Right under the upper bezel at a distance of a couple of millimeters, there is a pin-hole camera lens.

Camera and battery

The Galaxy A51 may be an affordable phone but it has the camera setup which is nothing less than a premium feature in a mid-range phone.

On the front, there is a 32MP camera. And on the back side, there are four cameras in the camera bump. There is a main 48MP camera lens which is joined by a 12MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP macro sensor, and a 5MP depth sensor. If you are into the photography and you have this phone in your hand, you can count yourself in for a professional kind of shoot.

Another great feature of this phone is its 4,000mAh battery which is a nice feature in accordance with the size of the phone. We can hope this battery to perform well.

Performance and specs

It is not known about the exact model of the processor chipset used in Galaxy A51 but what’s known is that it is an octa-core processor. This phone will have 4GB of RAM. Some regions may get 6GB or even 8GB.

The storage options available with this phone are 64GB and 1228GB. If you want a bigger storage, you can enhance it by 512GB with the help of a Micro SD.
